Nestled just 5 minutes from the Auroville Visitors Center, the location offered me convenient access to explore the picturesque city while indulging in the warm, hospitable vibes of the establishment. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by an incredibly friendly staff at the 24-hour front desk, fluent in English and Hindi, who ensured I felt right at home. My room, complete with a private bathroom, provided a clean and comfortable sanctuary that felt just right after a long day of exploration. The shared lounge and beautifully air-conditioned common areas allowed for some much-needed relaxation, and I particularly enjoyed chatting with fellow travelers, which enriched my experience further. What truly made my stay memorable were the managers, Ankush and Vinod, whose kindness and guidance transformed my time at Auroville. Their warmth not only made it easy to connect with other guests but also added a personal touch that is often missing in larger accommodations. With a stunning rooftop terrace perfect for catching the sunrise or unwinding under the stars, GoSTOPS Pondicherry is a haven for nature lovers like myself. I left with fantastic memories and a newfound appreciation for the people I met along the way, marking this hostel as a must-visit for anyone wanting to dive into Auroville's enchanting atmosphere.
